Makueni: Kaiti member of Parliament, MP Hon Joshua Kimilu has distanced himself from Catholic church being against cash donations from politicians.
The church has called upon those willing to donate to the church to do so using personal cheques, for any amount above 50,000.
The legislator was addressing members of press after a church service at ACK Ukia in his constituency.
He had attended an Harambee to aid in construction of a perimeter wall around ACK’s plot.
Kimilu called on church leadership to let people serve their Maker, God without hindrance.
